Jason Bartlett is one of the most dominant and successful harness racing drivers in the history of Yonkers Raceway, earning him the moniker “King of the Hilltop.” His career at the half-mile track is defined by an extraordinary record of consistency and wins.

As of late 2024, Bartlett has secured the prestigious Leading Driver title at Yonkers Raceway 13 times (including 2024), capping off his third consecutive win with the title that year. For instance, in the 2024 racing season alone, he accumulated 454 wins at Yonkers, significantly ahead of his competitors.

Beyond Yonkers, Bartlett is recognized as one of North America’s elite drivers. His overall career achievements include over 11,000 lifetime wins and more than $161 million in purses, ranking him among the best in the sport’s history. He has won in various Grand Circuit races and twice represented the United States in the World Driving Championship.

Bartlett’s success is often attributed to his aggressive driving style and ability to excel on the tight turns of a half-mile track, though he has also demonstrated his prowess on mile ovals like The Meadowlands. He continues to be a top contender in national harness racing, frequently ranking in the top tier for both wins and earnings.
